071106 Tuesday Prayer Breakfast - Fr. Pat Driscoll

Since 1834, St. Peter’s Catholic Church has been a constant reminder of the Lord’s goodness to countless individuals who have been its members. Pastor Pat Driscoll leads a parish that strives to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ through faithfully living out our Catholic faith.

This podcast message is about meeting the challenge to live out a virtuous life with freedom of spirit. Even pre-Christian sages recognized the need to live a truly good life so as to be fully human and whole. Aristotle understood this principal in his ethical treatice.

But Emmanuel Kant supposedly proposed that a well ordered group of devils could form a virtuous band to accomplish the highest good was totally wrong. Hitler and his band proved it.

Our calling as baptized Christians is to minister to this hurting world in the name of Jesus Christ through His gospel and reconciling love. Pastor Driscoll answers questions about Roman Catholic polity that reveals how important it is to practice virtuous conduct in the order and discipline of church government and practical theology.
