This message is more of an interactive interview with our Friday lunch crowd regarding their individual ways of practicing spiritual devotion and communion with God.
The interviewer is Dr. Susan Ward Diamond, who is the pastor at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Montgomery, Alabama. Her mission and the mission of her church is "To demonstrate and proclaim God's joyful, unconditional love in an inclusive environment of spiritual growth and nurture for God's children." As with many churches - love, acceptance, and the challenge to realize one's purpose through spiritual growth is their focus, with Jesus as their guide. They are committed to making a difference in Montgomery as they reach out to those who need God's love and support in tangible ways.
