Chip Nix is one of the founders of his law firm, when he began practice in 1973. His many years of experience have all been in the defense of civil cases and dispute resolution involving civil matters. He was elected and served as a Bar Commissioner for the Alabama State Bar from 1989 to 1991. Chip was the 1990 President of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, which is an organization of over 1,200 Alabama attorneys who work primarily in the defense of civil cases. He is board certified in Civil Trial Practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and has taught numerous courses about trial strategy and technique.
