070717 Friday Focus with Michael & Mimi Finesilver

Michael & Mimi Finesilver's Christian Ministry to Jews in South Florida is called "Everlasting Life Outreach." They offer a ministry to the Jewish people lovingly offered by Jews who have come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Their website is www.everlastinglifeoutreach.com.
They ask, “Would You Like to Know How You Can Be Inscribed in the Book of Life?” The Bible itself is the “Book of Life,” providing instructions on how to have everlasting life. This is what the Book of Life says:
Men and women were created to have a perfect (pure and intimate) relationship with our Creator, Elohim.
“Thou makest me to know the path of life; In Thy presence, is fulness of joy, in Thy right hand bliss for evermore.” (Psalm 16:11)
Yet we cannot have this fellowship with our Creator because of our sin.
“They are all corrupt, they are together become impure; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Psalm 14:3)
“For there is not a righteous man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
“The wicked are estranged from the womb; the speakers of lies go astray as soon as they are born.” (Psalm 58:3)
“Behond, the Lord’s hand is not too shortened, that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have separated between you and your God; and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:1-2) The Lord will not recognize man’s efforts to remove sin.
“No man can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him - for too costly is the redemption of their soul.” (Psalm 49:8)
“And we are all become as one that is unclean, and all our righteousness are as a polluted garment; and we all do fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.” (Isaiah 64:5) Our Creator requires a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life..” (Leviticus 17:11)
Our gracious Lord provides this atonement for sin through the Messiah of Israel, for God Himself was that blood sacrifice. If we accept His provision, we can be inscribed in the Book of Life!
“And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me because they have thrust him through; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for his first-born.” (Zechariah 12:10)
“But he was wounded because of our transgressions, he was crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with his stripes we were healed. All we like sheep, did go astray, we turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath made to light on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:5-6) All that is required is faith and a willing heart.
“They shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say, ‘It is my people,’ and they shall say, ‘The Lord is my God.’” (Zechariah 13:9b)
Does this make sense to you? If yes, and you are ready to turn over control of your life to your loving Father and have your name inscribed in the Book of Life, you can pray the following prayer right now:
My Creator, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, You who are called the Ancient of Days, the Holy One of Israel, I know that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sin. I believe that Jesus is Messiah and Lord, and that He died on the cross for my sins personally. I also believe that He rose again to give me everlasting life. I now trust Jesus to come into my heart and life, to forgive me of all my sins and to inscribe my name in Your Book of Life. I am willing to follow and obey Jesus as the Lord of my life. AMEN.
If you have prayed this prayer, please either contact Mimi & Michael at finesilver@charter.net or call someone you might know who is a believer in the Messiah.
