070504 Friday Focus with Bob and Jean Graetz

Robert S. and Jean E. Graetz came to Montgomery as Luther pastor and pastor’s wife to an African-American congregation in the mid to late 1950’s. Because of their personal history and dedication to Civil Rights they are leaders in the National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African American Culture. Most recently Alabama State University formed the Robert Graetz Syposium on Reconciliation based on Martin Luther King Jr.’s theme of the “Beloved Community.”

In this recorded presentation the Graetz couple reflect on past, present and future events in their lives that reveal how Jesus Christ has led them to work toward a beloved community for all people in Montgomery and in the world at large. They can be reached by cell phones at (740) 591-8714/15 or by email at bjgraietz@acninc.net or jbgraetz@hotmail.com.
