Beginning in June the United Methodist Church will move my wife and me to Dexter Avenue United Methodist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. My first charge as a local pastor has been at Pineview United Methodist, Jay, Florida. Since I will not host the web site for Pineview after May, I'm trying out blogging and podcasting as a possible communications tool for my ministry. I named this blog "compassion hope community" based on basic themes of the life in Jesus Christ as carried in and with the church. I pray that others will participate with me in this new endeavor.
